We had the best time shooting Nina and Jon’s Rice Lake, Wisconsin Summer Engagement Session.  The weather was perfect, the lighting was wonderful, and the couple was amazing.  We cannot wait for you to get little taste of their beautiful session.

It all started back in 2011. At Farm and Fleet. Kind of. They had worked together for some time at the local Farm and Fleet where they didn’t really know each other.  Later on, they randomly met up outside of work at a little social gathering and have been together ever since! We can tell just by the short time that we have been around these two that they have such a calmness about them. We can tell why they clicked right away.  They both keep each other levelheaded.

Nina and Jon have been getting the same question a lot of couples do after they have been together for a while, “when are you going to pop the question?”  They did not think anything of it and they kept just living on with their life together.  Then along came the gorgeous trip to Maui and you can bet what happened.  Nina had no idea, none at all, and there was Jon, popping the question. She could not have been more surprised and excited!!

We had the opportunity to spend some time with these two for their engagement session, and like always, we had so much fun. Being around them is so incredibly easy.  Nina has the best sense of style and we love how Jon just goes with the flow.  We know their family and friends must just adore them both.  They are kind, helpful, and willing to lend a hand whenever needed.  For example, they are puppy sitting their friend’s new puppy this weekend together.  It’s moments like these that they will spend together, laughing at the mishaps and stresses of a new puppy or whatever obstacles they encounter in life, which they will remember and what will make them who they are meant to be together.

Personally, we cannot wait for their wedding coming up about a year from now.  It will be held at the ever so adorable.  Their ceremony will be the beautiful Our Lady-Lourdes Church in Dobie, WI and the ceremony at the Church Barn in Barron, WI. They are going to rock it all.
