When we first received Katie’s inquiry about being her wedding photographers (just 20 minutes after getting engaged), she was sooo excited! We know this lovely couple from being teachers. Emily taught Katie in high school and Erin had the pleasure of getting to know Kyle at Rice Lake High School. Knowing who these two are, as people, got us super excited to start the planning process along with them!

We started the session off at Kyle’s family farm.  It doesn’t operate as a full-blown farm anymore, but it is gorgeous and it will be the PERFECT setting for their wedding.  They plan to hold their ceremony and reception right at the family farm.  We love that. After snapping a few of these two young lovebirds at the farm, we headed into town for some sunset photos.  These kids…I mean adults now are so much fun to hang around.  Katie’s smile is adorable and Kyle just goes with the flow. They stuck with us through the prickly bushes to get the perfect shots we wanted.  Thanks, guys.
