It all started at UWEC. Kara and Alex were both Blugolds. Three years of dating led Alex to an idea. Kara and Alex were at Irvine Park in the middle of the snowy winter when Alex popped the big question. Kara, of course, said yes and got the ring of her dreams. It’s GORGEOUS! They were both recently working in Eau Claire, but Kara just got a job teaching in Sheboygan and Alex is currently still working in Eau Claire as an analyst with Menards. Alex will be moving down to Sheboygan and closer to family as soon as he lands his dream job! 🙂

We had so much fun during their engagement session, even with the humidity and heat. Mommsen’s Harvest Hills made for a beautiful setting. It was emptying out just as their session started, and we got some quiet time with just the two of them. They are as cute as can be together. Kara is a giggler and we loved it. We cannot wait to celebrate (in theirs and our old stomping grounds-Eau Claire) their wedding day in late September! We can already tell how fun this day is going to be for everyone there, including us!
