Spooner, WI Engagement Session

Kenzie and Kyle first met at a pre-season football game in 2010 in Cumberland, WI.  Kenzie was there with a friend and Kyle was there scouting a boy on the Cumberland team.  They didn’t do much watching of the game that night.  Kenzie expressed that they are a perfect match because Kyle is weird, just like her! After they graduated high school, they both moved up to the Twin Ports and spent the next five years up there.  Kyle soon graduated from college and became a phy-ed teacher!

On their 7-year anniversary, Kyle skipped football practice and went up to Duluth to spend the evening with Kenzie.  Kenzie already was wondering what was up if Kyle was skipping practice! Kyle took Kenzie on a walk (she thought this was weird, too) to the Rose Garden before dinner.  She noticed that he was acting like he was on his 6th Mountain Dew for the day on this walk and thought that was odd!  When they arrived at a fountain, Kyle told Kenzie to close her eyes and when she opened them back up he was down on one knee.  She said she completely lost it! The surprise didn’t end there though.  He pointed to a row of bushes and Kenzie’s roommates came crawling out with cameras.   HOW SWEET IS THIS MAN!?!

These two are absolutely amazing individuals! They both have such a great sense of humor and are so kind.  Kenzie’s adorable dimples stole the show in this engagement session!  We cannot wait to capture their big day next summer! Take a look at the future Mr. and Mrs. Gauger! They are SOOOOO DANG good lookin’!
