Comstock, WI Wedding: McCall and Adam

We were in disbelief when we arrived for McCall and Adam’s wedding. Mainly because all wedding season (summer and fall), we have had pretty extreme weather. We started our season off with very high temperatures and humidity, lots of rain for other weddings, and even snow just a week ago! The weather was what we all hope for and think of when we think of fall weather.  It was the kind of weather where you could be outside, without a jacket! We were so excited we got to enjoy our last wedding of the season with such great people, an amazing bride and groom, and wonderful fall weather.

When we arrived at the venue, which happened to be the bride’s parents’ cabin on Pipe Lake, we were welcomed with open arms. After meeting McCall and Adam during their engagement session (which also happened to be the coldest session we have EVER done by the way), we weren’t surprised when we arrived and everyone made us feel like just another member of the family.

The rain had just stopped and the colors were vibrant. The lake was calm and the sun was starting to peek out on the ceremony site, which overlooked the view of the lake and beautiful fall colors. The vibe all around was as chill as ever. We have never seen such a calm and laid back wedding and we loved every minute of it! We cannot stress that enough. The guys were playing bean bags, helping get the ceremony site set up, and enjoy some Spotted Cow on tap. The girls were getting their final touches of hair and makeup and as relaxed as ever, especially McCall.

We learned a little bit about McCall and Adam as the day went on. Adam used to wear flannels almost every single day in high school, hence why the groom and groomsmen wore flannels as their attire. This fit perfectly into every aspect of the day, and McCall’s lifestyle. Although we got the idea that McCall isn’t much of a fancy pants (and really doesn’t care to wear dresses or heels often, if ever), she looked beautiful!! These two are extreeeeeemmmmly laid-back and two of the funniest people ever! They both kept each other and us laughing the entire day. We can see why everyone adores them both so much. We can also see exactly why Adam proposed, not too long ago, at Willow River State Park. They are a perfect fit.

From the flannels to the tap root-beer to the smore’s that Morgan put together, we adored this wedding. However, what we really adored was the love that McCall and Adam shared, the way their family welcomed us into the day, and the setting where their day was held. McCall and Adam, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a FUN day and making our last wedding of the season one that we will always look back on and smile. You two are hilarious.

Take a look at some of the photos from the day below.
