What a fun couple! We love their sense of humor – both of them and their kindness. We had a blast shooting their engagement session. This is already getting us so excited to shoot their wedding next summer! Whoop! Whoop! We did their entire session at the Saffert residence. If you have never been here, wowza. You’re missing out on some amazingness. We cannot thank the Saffert family enough for allowing us in such a beautiful setting for an engagement session.

Kathrine and Ryan met while working at Best Buy. Howwwww romantic! Well, maybe not, but they sure hit it off. Although, we will say that we learned it took awhile. It wasn’t right away that Kathrine was interested. She didn’t even want a boyfriend at all. Ryan was persistent and around New Year’s Eve, is when it hit Kathrine that maybe he was the guy after all! Maybe working at and meeting at Best Buy wasn’t the most romantic thing, but the engagement was! On their annual trip to Bentleyville is where Ryan proposed to Kathrine. They both find this place romantic and magical. We totally agree. Actually, we think it would make for a great one-on-one date for the next season of The Bachelor. 🙂 It was a sweet proposal, even if Kathrine was so caught off guard that she barely even remembers it!
