We wished we had known, prior to starting sports photography, the mistakes we were always making. So, we have done the work for you in learning what to do and what not to do and we will let you in on ALL those details.
You will want a DSLR or mirrorless camera, at least one strobe (we love our Godox AD400 and Wescott is great), a trigger for that strobe (make sure it is a trigger that is compatible with your camera body), and a light modifier of some sort (a simple umbrella is a great start). We talk and guide you through all of this in the course.
We talk about Adobe Lightroom Classic if that is something you are interested in purchasing, you can. However, it is not necessary right now. This is something you can do a free trial with while we go over that module. After that, you could make your decision to purchase it.
We release all of the modules all at once, but you have life-time access.
We have kept our video lessons short and break them up so they can be watched by either binging them all in one sitting or watched here and there as you are on your lunch break or calming down for the night. We don’t want you to rush through the lessons and never give it time to soak in and practice what you’re learning. That is why we give you a suggested guide to follow and life-time access.
Bottom line, this course is so worth it because you will learn exactly how to achieve this moody sports look!
You will want a basic understanding of manual mode (ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed).
You will also want to have a basic understanding of your strobe and trigger and how they communicate.
Lighting setup, modifiers, equipment terms, etc. are all things we cover and simplify to put you at ease! You DO NOT need to know those things yet! That is what we are here to help you with.
YES! You will have full access to all content for a lifetime and can rewatch any lessons as needed.

Absolutely! Our course is designed with clear and straightforward instructions. We break down technical concepts into easy-to-understand modules, ensuring that photographers of all technical backgrounds can successfully implement the techniques.
That is okay! We teach in a way that will work for any strobe!

We’ve experienced firsthand what it feels like to transition from a new photographer with no idea how to work our camera, what settings to use, how to edit an image, etc. and almost giving up, to being one of the highest demand photographers in our area that has been able to be more in control of our schedules, leaving us with more time with ourselves and our families.
